Strategic Planning Module 2023
The 2023 Strategic Planning Module utilizes the Circle of Engagement tool, or COE. This tool was developed by NFCB as a way to help stations implement strategic engagement, content and revenue goals while growing the organizational capacity to sustain their effort over time.

Dynamic Community Governance Module 2023
The 2023 Dynamic Community Governance module was designed to help stations respond to common, and unique, governance challenges within their staff and board. NFCB has partnered with SCG Nonprofits and Sociocracy for All to present the sociocratic framework as a tool and resource.
General DCG Schedule
Phase 1: UNDERSTAND. Connect and Educate
January – March: Individual Exploration for NFCB Staff; Information Sessions, Decisions, and Group Formation for cohort members.

Organizational Culture Module 2023
The 2023 Organizational Culture module was designed as a response to the need for education, resources, and support for station efforts to be more equitable, diverse, and inclusive, as well as fostering a sense of belonging amongst of staff, volunteers, board, and listeners. NFCB has partnered with The Equity Project to lead this module.
General DEIB Schedule
June 28th: DEIB Intensive with The Equity Project at the NFCB annual Conference in Denver, CO.
July: Cohort participants complete Conference Intensive Evaluation.
August – December: Virtual sessions, coaching, and wrap-up.
Meet-up Schedule
Module Meet-ups will be held over Zoom on Wednesdays at 11:30 AKT / 12:30 PT / 1:30 MT / 2:30 CT / 3:30 ET. They will last 2 hours.
