The National Federation of Community Broadcasters Announces a Search for Its Next Leader

NFCB is looking for a leader who can navigate an industry that is changing fast and faces unprecedented challenges. This pivotal role requires someone who admires the grassroots and local nature of community radio stations and sees a future for them to thrive and become even more deeply embedded in the hearts and minds of the people who listen to and rely on them.
What are the application window dates?
The application window for NFCB's next CEO will open on July 10, 2023. The desired start date for the position is January 2024 or sooner, but the position will remain open until filled.

Where is the position located?
This is a remote, United States-based position that requires occasional travel (3-5 times per year).
Would I have to relocate for the position?
You can work from anywhere in the United States, including from home.

Do I have to have a radio background to be considered?
An understanding of community radio is preferable for this leadership position at NFCB, but anyone with the required skills to lead NFCB into the future will be considered.
