NFCB member station KNON was recently blasted off the air by a tornado that struck Dallas. Footage of the damage showed up on Facebook, with station leaders vowing to be back on the air.
Through efforts chronicled by the Dallas Morning News, KNON returned to the airwaves. Station Manager Dave Chaos shared more about the recovery with KERA.
How can you help? Donations are most needed as the station looks to find a new home. In the coming weeks, NFCB will be checking with stations about available spare equipment, as KNON assess what may be salvaged from their old gear.
