Today is the FCC comment deadline on changes to community media.

Potential rule changes reportedly being considered by the Federal Communications Commission could impact agreements between cable television operators and cities.

Community media outlets, which include Public, Education and Government TV/radio stations, are expressing concern that such shifts may permit operators to treat monies that traditionally have gone to community media in far different ways. PACTV explains further:

MassAccess offers context, noting the deadline for initial comments is today.

Foxboro Community Access notes you can go here to file your comments, by clicking Express and filling in your information, including remarks about the effect on your community.
