It is always important to remember that inserting copyrighted music without permission is off limits. For community radio stations, this is even more important. You have assets litigious types could come after.
Much attention is coming to so-called bootleg podcasts, those podcasts putting unlicensed music into their episodes. Articles here and here will help get you up to speed.
In this instance, Spotify is removing podcasts and episodes that feature unlicensed tracks. One could reasonably expect contact from PROs seeking payment for these matters.
