A key filing is due this week.
In June, FEMA announced the next national Emergency Alert System test would take place in August. All stations are required to file Form One as a part of this process by July 3.
Form One is available via the ERTS website. Stations are required to log in and file notice of their existing systems in order to participate in the EAS test next month.
Stations all urged to check their emergency equipment and to update all software and firmware relevant to the upcoming test. Form One filing is required of all stations.
