In late September I traveled to Washington to present to the Content Depot team about NFCB. Equipped with updated data about where our members come from, what communities they serve, and what kind of licenses they are I spoke with the team about what sorts of challenges and opportunities community radio is facing. A critical piece of what NFCB offers to our members is precisely these kinds of presentations. Many people in the public media system are not familiar with the nature of community radio and if we don’t talk about it, that will never change.
