It’s a good time to remember “Super Bowl” and “Super Sunday” are registered trademarks guarded aggressively by the National Football League from promotional use by anyone, including radio stations.
References that could give the impression of a relationship between you and/or underwriters and the NFL are forbidden. Spots referencing Super Bowl parties and wordplay with Super Sunday are best to be avoided. The same goes for team names.
Factual, non-promotional on-air banter as well as news and sports reports that refer to the Super Bowl and teams are permissible.
