[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Robert M. Winteringham, is Of Counsel at the law firm of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth in Washington, DC and a founder of the Public Media Consulting Group. His practice includes advising public media entities about compliance with the requirements of grants administered by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, most notably the Community Service Grant (“CSG”) program. He also assists stations with policy formulation, audit preparation, meeting facilitation, and compliance performance.
Mr. Winteringham was CPB’s Deputy General Counsel from 2005 – 2013 and served as an attorney in CPB’s Office of General Counsel starting in 1997. Mr. Winteringham also served as a Vice President and Chair of the Legal Committee for the North American Broadcasters Association. Prior to CPB, Mr. Winteringham was senior associate at the communications law firm of McFadden, Evans & Sill. Mr. Winteringham also worked as an intern at the advertising agency Young & Rubicam. Mr. Winteringham is a cum laude graduate of the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington, where he served on the editorial board of the Federal Communications Law Journal. Mr. Winteringham received his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Michigan.
