NFCB’s Sally Kane has been chosen for her work in service of community media.
50 exceptional leaders will participate in National Arts Strategies’ Chief Executive Program: Community and Culture. Participants were chosen for their efforts to lead change in their organizations, and for the presence of deep community roots.
Sally Kane is a veteran community radio leader who serves as NFCB’s chief executive officer. She’ll join an international cohort of non-profit and arts visionaries, united to make the areas they each work in even better.
According to National Arts Strategies:
Over the next year, these executives will be supported in their work through the introduction of different approaches from outside their sector, a range of analytical frameworks and an international, cross-disciplinary network of allies and collaborators. They will travel to Harvard Business School and University of Michigan, Ross School of Business where they’ll be introduced to tools they can use year after year to help put their great ideas into action.
National Arts Strategies strengthens the arts and culture sector by creating meaningful educational experiences for leaders at all levels of the ecosystem – from boards and CEOs to entrepreneurs and artists – giving them the tools to transform their leadership, their organizations and their communities.
