Fundraising for community radio is key to sustaining community media. How does your station raise money outside its on-air pledge drives?

A new study may help your station think outside of the development box it traditionally operates in.

The Colorado Media Project has released a report examining public pathways for supporting local news, including publicly-funded local information districts, a state-level, public-private partnership to stimulate local media innovation, and programs to help local media businesses transition to mission-driven models. While not all are applicable, some of these efforts might inform your local community radio endeavors to create new fundraising avenues.

Be inspired here.
