Music reporting can seem quite complicated, particularly because of the complexity of requirements. A radio station is obligated to obtain licenses for the music that it broadcasts over the air via terrestrial signal and also music it broadcasts via streaming. If your station has questions about this matter, an upcoming conversation is for you.

NFCB’s May webinar tackles the issue of music reporting for community radio with one of the foremost experts in media, Jeff Cabiness of NPR Member Partnership.

NPR and CPB have an agreement with SoundExchange that defines the terms, conditions, and reporting obligations for public broadcasters to provide sound recordings over the Internet. If your station utilizes this agreement, this is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn ways to make your reports easier and more efficient.

This webinar is a service to NFCB member stations. Please contact us for an invitation or join today if your station is not yet a member.
