Mary Garner McGehee has spent 1,833 hours (and counting!) of her life listening to podcasts. She serves as WTJU’s Managing Producer for the Virginia Audio Collective where she has produced Bold Dominion, Inside UVA, Admissible, Hoos in STEM, Charlottesville Soundboard and a slew of other University-affiliated podcasts. She also coordinates with student podcast producers and aspiring podcast producers. Starting 2022, she has also worked with the Sound Justice Lab, a research group at UVA’s Karsh Institute of Democracy focused on voice, silence and power.
