Lauree McArdle

Operations Manager, Arlington Independent Media

Lauree McArdle got her start in community media at Stockton University in NJ with Lake Fred Radio, WLFR, where she served as the General Manager for two years. She is currently the Operations Manager of Arlington Independent Media and has been the driving force behind WERA-LP 96.7 FM, Radio Arlington, since long before its launch in December 2015. She’s proud of the talented producers and hosts on the air for WERA and has found it a highly rewarding experience to help Arlington residents become first-time radio personalities.

A graduate of Stockton University with a BA in Communications, Lauree has spent her career in various broadcast platforms, including Montgomery Community TV, Sesame Street, and Nickelodeon.  When she’s not hosting her weekly radio show, Spin Cycle, on WERA-LP, you can find her supporting independent music and looking for even more ways to help foster the arts and independent artists in the greater DC area.
