He attended every NFCB conference from 1985 through 2014, authored the current edition of the NFCB Legal Handbook and numerous articles on communications law, helped create a “tribal priority” for Tribes seeking a radio station to serve their own lands and received NFCB’s 2009 Bader Award. He has served on the Boards of NFCB, AIR and Public Media Company.
