Now’s the time to share community radio’s story with Congress.

NFCB encourages community media outlets to be active in talking about what they bring to their cities and towns. As the new administration has reportedly proposed privatization of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, it is community media’s obligation to speak up about why educational media and federal support for it make a difference.

In addition, community radio stations are encouraged to share information with their listeners about the issues before us. NFCB’s new Support Community Media page helps listeners find their local representative, and give points to raise.

Our new Support Community Media page allows listeners to look up, by their address, who their federal lawmakers are, as well as contact information. There is also information for participation on social media.
