The time to salute community radio’s best is coming up.
Do you know of a community radio station who has performed above and beyond over the past year? Whose exemplary excellence and leadership has inspired collective impact in their neighborhoods? We’re talking about a station who does all they can to provide a service for the betterment of their community. Maybe this station is where you work!
This year at our annual conference in Denver, the National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB) is honoring an outstanding community radio station with our Golden Torchlight Award — a symbolic nod to NFCB’s legacy Golden Reels, that, for decades, represented the standard bearer for the best in community storytelling and public service media.
NFCB is asking you – our community – to nominate stations to receive the Golden Torchlight Award via this simple form. The NFCB board will select a winner that best exemplifies our stated five values: collective impact, diversity, localism, excellence, and leadership in programming.
