A regulatory deadline is now.
All EAS participants must file a new Form One in the FCC’s EAS Test Reporting System (ETRS) by August 27 in order to make sure that the Commission has the most up-to-date identifying information for stations.
Form One can be accessed by going to the EAS Test Reporting System (ETRS) page of the FCC’s website. Stations can log in to access Form One using the username and password for the FCC’s COmmission REgistration System (CORES).
The FCC will conduct a nationwide Emergency Alert System (EAS) test on Thursday, September 20.
