Researching Unmet Needs is a groundbreaking study of the unmet needs of music audiences and news audiences. Fielded in the summer and fall of 2024, RUN includes a national survey of over 10,000 adults 18+, local oversampling in 19 specific local markets, and a series of 20 focus groups with respondents from across the country. Taken together, all of this research has yielded powerful insights about people’s media appetites, attitudes, and preferences.
