Webinar: Solutions Journalism: How it Can Work for You

We know from the recent Researching Unmet Needs study that community radio listeners value hyper local stories that highlight solutions rather then centering on problems.

This workshop will be useful for all stations wanting to learn about Solutions Journalism, but especially those stations with news departments along the spectrum of non-existent to smallish. If your station has a growing journalism effort, or is working towards establishing one, this workshop will provide concrete concepts and strategies in Solutions Journalism that you can easily adapt and apply to your station.

J.D. Allen is a journalist and a lecturer at the School of Communication and Journalism at Stony Brook University in New York. He also holds accreditation from the Solutions Journalism Network to teach response-driven storytelling, especially in climate solutions.
