This is an informal virtual space for any staff member or volunteer involved in, managing, or contributing to news, public affairs, or non-music programming.
The purpose of these meetups is to provide an informal space to come together and share, support, listen, and learn. These semi-regular meetups are participant lead and may include breakout rooms. NFCB’s Serah Mead will be facilitating and ensuring a psychologically safe atmosphere for candor, humility, and humor.
Some topics up for discussion at each meeting include, but are not limited to:

– recording + interview techniques
– storytelling in community media
– solutions journalism
