Today is the day to come to Denver at the best rate possible.
NFCB’s annual Community Media Conference takes place July 17-19 in Denver. May 15 marks the end of discounted early registration.
This year’s event features over 100 speakers on programming, revenue, community engagement and media technology; keynotes by Jenni Monet on her work at Standing Rock, and Denise Soler Cox on connecting with America’s changing demographics; a major working group on community radio conversion from analog to digital music libraries; intensives on fundraising, solutions journalism, music programming and governance; summits for rural, Latino, Native and low-power community radio stations; opportunities for member and affiliate stations to visit with leaders from NPR, Pacifica, BirdNote and others; breakfast discussions; plenaries on change management and inclusion; and surprises to be announced in the coming weeks.
NFCB member stations can attend the conference at the lowest cost. However, even stations that are not members of America’s largest community radio alliance can take advantage of the early-bird discount.
