MetaPub is being used by stations and producers to synchronize text, images and links with live broadcasts of audio programming on smartphones with FM receivers, on HD and RDS radios, including car dashboards, and on web sites and other mobile devices. California stations have used it recently to issue test emergency messages about earthquakes, stations have implemented the service with local programming, and NPR is using it for All Things Considered and Morning Edition. It can also enable listeners to donate while listening to your station via their smartphones and provide new opportunities for sponsorships.
