Many people received an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot for a holiday gift. These handy items can read the news, play music, set alarms and create lists. You can also play your local radio station.
NFCB provides a list of local community radio stations here. You can find your local station and ask Alexa to play it through the Echo and Echo Dot being linked to the TuneIn radio app.
To bring up a community radio station from the list, just say, “Alexa play [station call letters]” and it loads stations as loaded in the TuneIn radio app.
