There is a lot to ponder and reflect upon as America nears its 250th anniversary. We at NFCB are inspired to focus the importance of community radio to the nation and its vibrant communities.
Within our membership alone, which is only 200 of more than 1.000 community radio stations nationwide, we’ve got stations that are mere months old broadcasting alongside stations who’ve served their listeners for decades upon decades. This spectrum of diversity is part of what makes American community broadcasting so special; it reflects the incredible people and stories of the land.
