Carol Courville
[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Executive Director, Athol-Orange Community Television
[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Carol Courville is Executive Director at Athol-Orange Community Television (AOTV) since its inception in 1995 and now the new non-commercial radio station WVAO-LP 105.9FM. She received her B.S. from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.
At AOTV, Carol has trained over 600 volunteers to create their own TV programs. In her first radio class in April, she trained 16 volunteers to become radio programmers. She is excited about the new adventure of community radio and the additional possibilities for the public to get their voices heard. She is still figuring out the differences between TV and radio and admittedly has a lot to learn.
Ms. Courville has devoted her energy to the North Quabbin area in Massachusetts as the Treasurer of the Athol-Orange Area Rotary Club and a Board Member of the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce. She currently resided in Fitchburg, MA with her husband Jim Brigley and son Lucas. She also enjoys time with her daughter and two grandchildren. As many New Englanders, she is an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
