I’m Becky Meiers, and I’m currently the General Manager at KCAW-FM in Sitka, Alaska. I worked in Development at KBOO Community Radio in Portland, and volunteered there as a producer/programmer prior to moving to Sitka. I was also one of the founding members of Freeform Portland. I started my radio career at WVFS Tallahassee in 2005. Currently, I serve on the Sitka Local Emergency Planning Commission, and I sit on the board of Sitka SHARK. KCAW is a member of CoastAlaska and the NFCB. I’m a certified radio operator with the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
