Ashley Krest has been involved in community radio since first volunteering as a DJ in the early 2000s. She worked in Member Services with NFCB from 2014 to 2016. Ashley joined the KVNF staff as Engagement Coordinator for Events and Underwriting in 2016 and moved into the General Manager position in 2020. She led the station through the pandemic and staff turnover and has overseen consistent organizational budget growth over the past five years. Ashley still hosts a show and is known on-air as DJ AKA.
