Archiving Radio History

By May 20, 2016September 20th, 2017Industry News

As we celebrate 40 years of supporting the work of community broadcasters, we know that stations across the country have rich archives of stories, interviews, and performances that need to be archived for future generations. Our panel of expert archivists will talk about what is involved in saving rare audio, what kinds of preservation efforts are underway and what types of opportunities are out there to fund efforts to preserve our audio legacy as an integral part of our collective history and culture across the country.

For all the sessions in the Wild Card track they are all in THE MEETING ROOM: see the conference schedule at a glance.
