This year, the Diversity Fellowship award will provide free registration to NFCB’s 2017 Community Media Conference. This is another step in what is considered a long journey in NFCB’s commitment to equity.

NFCB believes in cultivating new leadership rooted in our communities. From our 1981 producers of color conference to our partnerships today with the Latino Public Radio Consortium and, Native Public Media and allies, NFCB sees equity, diversity, inclusion, and media justice as cornerstones for building a more robust public media service that reflects and celebrates a broad spectrum of voices, talent, and leaders.
