2019 Community Media Conference registration opens soon, with many great sessions in store.

NFCB’s 2019 Community Media Conference happens June 18-20. The nation’s oldest and largest gathering of community radio stations takes place in San Diego, a center for media innovation.

Conference registration opens shortly, and there is plenty on the agenda to be excited about. This year, NFCB features tracks to help your station address its most pressing content, revenue, engagement and organizational capacity needs. The 2019 conference sees the return of Solution Centers, peer networking and problem-solving for general managers, program directors, membership/development and all-volunteer station leaders. There will also be hands-on sessions on topics as diverse as Rivendell automation to helping you through consensus decisionmaking processes for stations.

A special part of the program features time for stations to honor their best and veteran volunteers. If you are coming, it is a wonderful chance to have your station and its journey recognized before your colleagues.

The city of San Diego will offer you plenty of diversions for your evenings. Whether it is the city’s hip Gaslamp District, beaches, parks, award-winning restaurants and music scene, or the San Diego Zoo, you may wish to come early to town or stay the weekend with family and friends.

Check NFCB’s social media and website for the opening of registration soon.
