Grace Northern works for the Listening Post Collective as a Senior Program Officer, where she leads the development, implementation, and growth of the Playbook, fostering a network of community media makers and civic leaders. Grace leads outreach efforts, builds local partnerships, and coordinates Playbook grants to support community-led civic media projects. With over a decade of experience in community development, Grace specializes in capacity building, community-based participatory design, and deep community listening practices. She’s based in Chicago, IL where you can often find her and her partner outside walking their dog, Beans.
