Volunteer management is no longer just setting policies and processes. Elements of effectively coordinating volunteers include relationships, understanding a volunteer’s strengths, and knowing your own priorities. New programming, new community events, and new initiatives are most likely to succeed with engaged volunteers. This session will show your station how to identify projects that your community of volunteers can achieve and that your community of listeners will appreciate. Speakers will also share how to train and develop project leaders to ensure success.
